As part of his many charitable works, David worked like a trojan for the People in Need 2000 appeal.

He single handedly painted 32 paintings in 24 hours and they were sold and raised £7,500.00p for the charity.

I was born in Mallow, Co. Cork, Ireland. Formally a Building, Glazing and Decorating contractor, now retired. I am a self taught artist.

Always had an interest in painting, but never seemed to be going anywhere. I found books complicated, and took some art lessons, but found teachers unhelpful or, they didn't know. I finally discovered Bob Ross and his system of painting, and it opened up a whole new world for me in landscape and seascape painting.

I took three levels of teaching the Bob Ross system in London, and now a qualified Ross Instructor (C.R.I) working all over Ireland, or wherever invited to give workshops and demonstrations.

I love fly-fishing for trout and salmon, and fish all the lakes and rivers in Ireland, where I come across the most fantastic scenery for my paintings.

I believe the Irish landscape is the finest in the world for painting.

My paintings are in private ownership all over the world. I recently completed 13 video shows for T.V. of which I hope will be the first of many series.

Now, let me open up your world by attending one of my workshops.

Sincerely,

David.
